Mid-West-Coast

We've had several visitors to the West Coast here in the last couple of weekends! My dad was in town last weekend, and Claire came before that! She had a cousin getting married in Portland, so she did a little Pac NW tour. It's been great! So it may rain a lot here, but when it doesn't, it's breathtaking. I feel like in this picture it looks like God literally water colored the skyline. This city looks different every time I look at it! I love it! This is the new favorite view from Kerry Park..

The Sound... how cute is that boy?

Mike #2 at the fish market. It's nearing the end of Salmon season... until next time.

A rose between 2 thorns... or the other way around. Either way, it's good to be surrounded by Mikes.

Claire, myself, Mike... we made a super fun dinner at his house. We took Claire down to Portland and saw her mom and brothers. It was so nice to spend time with her and to talk all about her upcoming wedding!!

Frannie's Makeover

If you would have told me last September that I would be putting Washington plates on my car in a year because I had moved back to Seattle to date Mike Wade, I would have laughed hysterically at you. Alas, this is the way God works, and today, Frannie got a makeover. I am so glad that the colors of the Washington plates still compliment her coloring as well. =). Big Day here in the state of Washington! And also, the weather has been phenomenal lately!

Road Trip Pictures; one month later.....

At long last, blogspot is allowing me to post pictures! These are pictures from the 2200 miles road trip with the wonderful Jill Cooper. Welcome to Seattle! Soak it up! I actually took this my last weekend here in May, but I never posted it. I love the way they 'spell' out Seattle.

The view from Kerry Park; just north of the city! Mike brought my mom and I here.

This was our first day back together! Hooray! It was so wonderful, and it still is!

We took a trip down to the Market. Holy Shit those peaches were good!

This is the famous Freemont Troll! Freemont is the part of Seattle I just moved to. It's slightly north of the city and just at the bottom of Queen Anne Hill. This troll is hiding underneath the I-5 bridge. I think we look super-imposed in this picture!

Cheyenne, WY. I had never seen an actual RV dump before; and it was certainly picture worthy! Merry Christmas, shitter was full!

A beautiful lake in Oregon. This was our favorite view on the road trip (until we started getting west of the desert in Washington!)

This cup says 'Happiness is just a curly fry away'. How true that was. We were in Yakima, WA.. it was supposed to be the Napa Valley of WA. We were looking for a cute little winery and something with ambiance. Turns out Yakima is a trash hole; and the nicest thing we could find was Arby's. My mom threatened to eat her arm, though, if we didn't stop soon.. so Arby's it was. We were so ready to be out of the car by this point!

The many bugs collected along the way...
