Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! This is a very exciting day, as there is a new little baby about to enter into the world and into our little (large) circle of family friends. Think back to the post about Nicki Roame (Daughter of Mike and Debbie Wright) and her baby shower.... well, little Abby Roame is on her way. I will post pictures as soon as I have them!!! Good luck Nicki! In other Halloween, news it was a wonderful day at work as our pediatric patients came in all dressed up! Tana and I had very happening spider rings, but they really got in the way of putting gloves on!

Last weekend we carved 'Seahawks' pumpkins.. pretty snazzy huh? I felt like the Rams deserved no loyalty this season, so I went all out Seattle style.

On Saturday Mike and I went up to an 18 hole putting green course (the Rusty Putter haha), and enjoyed a beautiful fall afternoon. The sun was glowing pink over the Olympics and the skyline. Ahhhhhh........

A less 'zoomed in' view

The greens over looking Lake Washington. I mean, honestly, this place is gorgeous!
I will keep you updated on the new babies!!!

Missouri 41 Texas Tech 10

What a beautiful weekend in Mid-Missouri. Mike and I were SO fortunate to be able to travel home to St. Louis to see family, friends, and a tiger victory in Columbia. Friday night we had a great dinner at Pujols 5 in Westport with our families, the Wrights, and the Schusters, and then we laughed the night away at the Wades. Mike's sister Lindsey was in town with her kiddos, Carson and Olivia. They remain the cutest babies ever, and it was awesome to see them! Saturday we headed down to Homecoming at Mizzou. We played Texas Tech, and we dominated them! Farout Field fills me with nostalgia. I just love those Tigers.

3cheers for our tailgating crew. Britt flew in from Chicago, and her brother Brandon is now going to Mizzou! Adam and Claire had us all to their place before hand.. they provided delicious food and lots of beer. Becca is in grad school, and she was able to spend the day with us as well. We got Mike dressed up in black and gold, and the day was off to a great start!

Britt, Coop, and cider. A great combo. I love Britt's new pink highlights. She has just 'upped' the cool game.

Adam, Claire, me, Mike. This will hopefully be the first of many opportunities for the 4 of us to spend time together. Claire and Adam get married June 21st! There will be many posts of updates regarding that event for sure!

I had to get the ZOU in a picture!

Claire and Coop. We lived together our senior year. How has it been 3 years since then?

During half time we were able to go see Ali and Jeff Francis at the famous Wash, Mo tailgate. She's a fabulous girl, and it was a highlight to see her!

Closing out the day with a campus tour. Britt, Becca, and I gave Mike all of the history of Mizzou, though we didn't walk backwards. Who doesn't love Jesse hall at sunset?

I love this campus; it's breathtaking.

Sunday closed out the weekend with GREAT QT with my folks, Steven, Kim, Mike, and his mom, Becky. I am so refreshed and rejuvinated and blessed.

Correction

In my previous post I may or may not have identified Mike Cooper as Mike #2. This is in no way indicative of the order of importance of Mikes in my life =) They are both #1 but in different capacities. Either way I am a very lucky girl. I love my Mikes. Haha.

Hope this finds you well. It's been cold and rainy in Seattle all week, and the powder has started to fall across the ski passes on the mountains near here. So what I am gathering is that Winter lasts October-June, and summer is July-September. Use this information when you plan your next visit!
