On her way to fame

Britt Sanborn, RN turned actress has just landed her first huge deal acting job!! Congrats Britt! For the past week, she's been working hard, auditioning for the lead role of 'Claire' in a new NBC pilot. (I am not sure of the name, but I will check and get back to you!) So essentially, she films this pilot, and then it is given to NBC. NBC decides if it is good enough to put on the air... this could be the next Friends or Seinfeld!! Britt is a HUGE deal! I am so proud of her.

Here are a few pics from our visit at the beginning of April! Britt, Mike, and myself at the UW in front of the cherry trees.

He who must not be named. Just kidding, it's the Fremont Troll.

You'll notice similar pictures with all of my visitors because I tend to favor certain places! This is Kerry park; it is the view that makes the space needle look HUGE! Britt and I (in true Cooper-Britt fashion) conquered the city! We took ferry boat rides, climbed/hiked Mt. Si (until we were in too much snow), hiked to Snoqualamie falls, had a great BBQ, and ate tons of great food. We had at least one (or two) delicious lattes each day, several glasses of good Pinot and bubbly, chai tea etc. She is such a great friend that she tolerated pre-marriage class at church with us. She also helped me pre-register at Crate and Barell... I need decorative help! What a good MOH she will be. If you want to check her out, go to www.beboobrit.blogspot.com. She is fabulous.

Cooper Boys

I am so proud of my brothers.. they both have SUPER exciting things going on! Steven has been acting up a storm these past couple of weeks. He starred as the Beast in a community theatre production of "Beauty and the Beast" a few weeks ago, and this weekend he is performing in his last high school production! He is growing up so fast! In one month, he'll graduate from Marquette High School (Go Mustangs!), and then move on to South East MO State in the fall.

Ryan (the older Cooper) was just accepted into culinary school in San Francisco! He moves there at the end of June I am presuming.. I'm not sure the name of the school (I need to find out), but I hear it is a huge deal. Way to go Coop.. come on up to Seattle and cook for your big sis! Ryan and I at the Golden Gate Bridge Turkey Day 06 when I was living there.. I think we should do a take 2 this Turkey Day and stay with him!

The boys and I New Years of 06. We need some updated pics!

ps: Had a FABULOUS time with Britt- will be posting pics soon!

Bellevue, Washington

We have officially moved Mike to Bellevue. We rented the Budget truck this weekend, called our 5 closest friends, and moved! It has been a packed few days, but we are enjoying them! I have been taking pictures like crazy, and I will share them more later.. but this is one of the kitchen (duh). It features some of my favorite things about the new condo. Nice stainless steel appliances, red cabinets, and the fun tile floor, which, by the way is cold and shows TONS of dirt=) Oh the things you learn.

In other news, Mike and I started our pre-marriage class at church on Sunday and our respective grad school classes on Monday. I was officially accepted to the program here at the UW as well! Brittany comes in town on Thursday, and I can not wait. That's life in Seattle. Talk you in a couple of weeks (hopefully sooner!)
